Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 21, 2026
Mowtivated Kids (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Mowtivated Kids platform, including the website at mowtivatedkids.com and related mobile applications (the “Platform”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information about you when you use our Platform.
1. Information we collect
Account information
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, password (hashed), and account type (customer, parent, or kid). Parent accounts also include information about the kids they manage.
Profile information
Customer profiles include a service address. Kid profiles include first name, age range, bio, services offered, equipment owned, and any uploaded profile photos. This information is visible to other users.
Job data
When a job is posted or accepted, we collect job details including service type, scheduled date, price, address, and associated messages. Full address information is only shared with a kid or their parent after the parent has approved the specific job.
Payment information
Payments are processed by third-party providers (e.g., Stripe). We do not store full payment card numbers. We may store transaction IDs and amounts for record-keeping.
Photos and media
Job photos uploaded before or after a job are stored in secure cloud storage. Profile photos are stored and served via our CDN.
Device and usage information
We automatically collect certain technical information when you use the Platform, including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time stamps. This information is used for security monitoring and improving the Platform.
2. How we use your information
- To operate the Platform and provide our services
- To match customers with local kids and facilitate job posting and acceptance
- To process payments and send receipts
- To send transactional notifications (job status, messages, payment confirmations)
- To verify identities and prevent fraud
- To improve and develop the Platform
- To comply with legal obligations
3. Information sharing
Between users
When a parent approves a job, the customer's address and contact information is shared with the kid and their parent for that job only. Kid profiles (name, bio, services, ratings) are visible to customers browsing available providers.
Service providers
We share information with trusted third-party service providers that help us operate the Platform, including cloud hosting (AWS), email delivery (AWS SES), and payment processing (Stripe). These providers are contractually bound to protect your information.
Legal requirements
We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or government request, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the safety of users or the public.
Business transfers
If Mowtivated Kids is acquired or merges with another company, user information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify users of any such change.
4. Children's privacy (COPPA)
Mowtivated Kids is designed for use by minors under parental supervision. Kid accounts are created and managed by a verified parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verified parental consent. If you believe we have collected information from a child without parental consent, please contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it promptly.
5. Data retention
We retain account information for as long as your account is active. Job data and transaction records are retained for a minimum of 7 years for financial and legal compliance. You may request deletion of your account and associated data (see Section 7).
6. Security
We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong password and to contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.
7. Your rights and choices
You may access, update, or delete your account information at any time from your Account Settings page. To request full data deletion or a copy of your data, contact [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Cookies
We use session cookies to keep you logged in and functional cookies to remember preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or sell your data to advertisers.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify registered users by email and update the “Effective date” above. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
