1. Who we are

Mowtivated Kids ("we", "us", or "our") operates a marketplace platform that connects homeowners and businesses ("Customers") with local kids and teens ("Providers") who perform outdoor yard work services. By creating an account you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

Customers must be at least 18 years old. Kids under 13 may only use the platform under direct parental control via a parent account. Teens aged 13–17 may create their own login with verifiable parental consent. Parents are responsible for all actions taken by their registered kids.

3. Safety requirements

All kid Providers must complete our safety training modules and receive parental approval before accepting jobs. Parents are required to approve each job before work begins. Mowtivated Kids reserves the right to suspend accounts that violate safety policies.

4. Payments and fees

Mowtivated Kids charges a platform fee (currently 15%) on each completed job. Payouts to parents are processed via Stripe Connect. All prices are in USD. Prices displayed to kids are the kid payout amount after the platform fee is deducted. Stripe's terms apply to payment processing.

5. Fundraiser campaigns

Organizations may create Fundraiser campaigns where a configurable percentage of a kid's payout is directed to the campaign's fundraising total. Kids and their parents choose voluntarily to participate. Mowtivated Kids does not guarantee fundraising outcomes and is not responsible for how organizations use funds raised. Organizations must provide accurate information when creating campaigns.

6. Privacy and COPPA

We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. Kids' real names, ages, and contact information are never shared publicly. Full job addresses are only revealed to accepted Providers. See our Privacy Policy for details.

7. Marketplace rules

• Do not share contact information (phone, email, address) outside the platform.
• Do not solicit off-platform payments to avoid fees.
• Accurate job descriptions and honest reviews are required.
• Harassment, discrimination, or unsafe behavior will result in account termination.

8. Limitation of liability

Mowtivated Kids is a marketplace platform and is not an employer of kid Providers. We do not guarantee the quality of services performed. Our liability is limited to the platform fee collected on any disputed transaction. Customers and parents assume responsibility for verifying the suitability of jobs and Providers for their situation.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
